Conservation and community groups in Tioman collect data for their marine conservation initiatives. These seek to improve management of the Marine Park, as well as support marine research.

If you love taking photos while snorkelling or scuba diving, learn how you can help conservation projects in Tioman with your images.
In addition, you can help the Tioman Marine Conservation Group (TMCG) carry out their community stewardship activities by reporting ghost nets or animals in distress so that they can respond.

TMCG is Tioman Island’s local community group. They support the work of Marine Park authorities to manage the marine park area. They may be the first responders to remove ghost nets and rescue animals in distress, and share marine park violations to the authorities.
